Currently Pets Made Pawssible accepts dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and breeds. In the future we plan to accept farm animals subscribe to our newsletter, email and texts to keep up to date with any changes. 

Yes, We are a no-kill organization. To be considered no-kill, a shelter must have a live release rate of at least 90%. Pets Made Pawssible has had xx% live release rate since opening. We will never euthanize an animal because we run out of room, for minor illness or injury or treatable behavior issues. Unfortunately, at times we may have to make the agonizing decision to humanely euthanize an animal that we cannot rehabilitate due to severe injury, illness or severe behavior concerns that are beyond our abilities to treat. Our LRR can be seen in our annual statics report listed above. 

The animals in our care come from several places. The majority come in as "transfers" from other shelters who request assistance. We do accept surrenders, strays and animals that are scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding or any other reason besides animals that we cannot rehabilitate due to severe injury, illness or severe behavior concerns that are beyond our abilities to treat.

We rely on the public to provide support by way of joining our member program, making a donation in memory or honor of a person or pet, by corporate sponsorships, individual gifts, volunteering and grants.

Pets Made Possible is part of a coalition of local rescue organizations that have joined forces under the entity called the Alliance for Companion Animals which has created a multi-million dollar campaign called Fix. Adopt. Save. in order to increase the live release rate in local shelters, decrease the intake numbers and decrease the euthanasia rates. To learn more visit www.fixadoptsave.org. Pets Made Pawssible also pledges a percentage of its funds to legislation related to animal welfare and advocacy. 

Yes, we'd love your help! Pets Made Pawssilbe accepts volunteers, of all ages. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by and adult. We update our daily, weekly, monthly and annual volunteer opportunities consistently, subscribe to our newsletters, email, text and socials to stay up to date. We need all the help we can get, so volunteering is strongly encouraged. We have several offsite adoption locations and events. that have volunteer positions available. Please see our volunteer page for more information.
